We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your trip with Hindustan Trips, we’ve outlined our cancellation policy below to help you understand your rights and obligations.

Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp) to our team. Please include the booking reference and details of your trip when submitting the cancellation request. The cancellation policy will apply based on the number of days remaining until your scheduled departure.

Cancellation Charges

Our cancellation charges are structured as follows:
For Domestic and Short-Haul International Packages (within Asia & nearby regions)
  • 30 days or more before departure : A non-refundable booking fee of 25% will be charged. The remaining balance is refunded or can be used as a credit note for future travel.
  • 16 to 29 days before departure : 50% of the total package cost will be charged. The remaining balance is refundable or can be credited for future bookings.
  • 15 days or less before departure : 100% of the total package cost will be charged. No refund or credit will be issued.
For Long-Haul International Packages (Europe, USA, Australia, etc.)
  • 46 days or more before departure : A non-refundable booking fee of 30% will be charged. The rest of the amount can be refunded or credited for future use.
  • 31 to 45 days before departure : 60% of the total package cost will be charged. The remaining balance will be refunded or credited.
  • 30 days or less before departure : 100% of the total package cost will be charged. No refund or credit will be given.

Additional Notes

  • Airfare & Non-Refundable Services : Airline tickets, hotel bookings, and other services purchased through third-party providers are subject to their own cancellation policies. These services may not be refundable, and cancellation fees may apply.
  • Peak Season & Special Events : For bookings during peak seasons (e.g., holidays, festivals, or special events), cancellation charges may vary. Always check with us for the most up-to-date information before confirming your booking.
  • GST : Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be applicable on the cancellation charges as per government norms.

Changes to Bookings

We understand that sometimes you may need to modify your plans. Should you need to change your travel dates or package, we will try our best to accommodate your requests. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, depending on the nature of the changes.

Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or any other force majeure event, we may need to cancel or alter your travel plans. In these cases, we will offer alternate travel dates or a credit note, but we will not be liable for any losses or damages incurred.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed based on the original payment method used for booking. The time taken to process the refund may vary depending on the bank or payment gateway used.
